Visual Link was recently asked to film the surfing at Westward Ho! on the 10th & 11th October 2008 (as part of a lifestyle commission for one of its clients). The Surfing video below is basically made up from some of the footage gained over these two days (using the long range camera test footage, so expect a lot better when we're close to the action!!). This got us thinking about a cool idea to get the team out of the office and back at the beach. (…. Which is pretty unusual as we usually don't usually think about anything work related!). The result is that we're now offering a new service to any local surfers who want their surfing captured on film. The service is as follows: - For a small fee, one of our team of camera operators will film you surfing for two hours, …then take all the footage gained back to the editing suit so they can put together a personalised video/DVD of you surfing exploits (to then be supplied in a presentation DVD case). Interested? …Well give us a call to ask about the costs, and we'll let you know how little we're charging for the service (Our competition is watching, so we didn't want to give away all the costs on the net! (We know who you are!)). If you want a copy of the video shown below (on DVD), just let us know and we'll send you a copy.
